Description
Hematopoietic progenitor cell antigen CD34 is a heavily glycosylated, transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of lymphohematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, small-vessel endothelial cells, embryonic fibroblasts and some cells in fetal and adult nervous tissue. It is likely an adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis by mediating attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells.

FACS Description
Flow cytometry analysis of CD34 in KG1 cells. The cell was stained with ATGA0500 at 2-5ug for 1x10^6cells (red) . A Goat anti mouse IgG (Alexa fluor 488) was used as the secondary antibody. Mouse monoclonal IgG was used as the isotype control (dark gray), cells without incubation with primary and secondary antibody was used as the negative control (light gray) .
