Description

D-Panthenol (CAS: 81-13-0) is a water-soluble vitamin derivative, also known as provitamin B5, with the molecular formula C9H19NO4. It exists as a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid or white crystalline solid, odorless, slightly bitter, soluble in water, ethanol, methanol and propylene glycol, insoluble in chloroform and ether. D-Panthenol (CAS: 81-13-0) has excellent moisturizing, repairing, anti-inflammatory and nourishing properties, and is widely used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and feed industries due to its high safety and good biocompatibility.
