• Background :

  Selective antagonist at free fatty acid receptor 4 (FFA4), also known as GPR120. pIC50s= 7.1 and <4.6 for FFA4 and FFA1 respectively. Inhibits linoleic acid and GSK137647A-induced intracellular calcium increase in U2OS osteosarcoma cells expressing GPR120.1 Has been used to probe the GPR120-mediated effects of fatty acids on a GnRH-synthesizing neuronal cell model.2
