Recombinant Human NT-3
Background:
Neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is a member of the NGF family of neurotrophic factors and is structurally related to β-NGF, BDNF and NT-4. The NT3 cDNA encodes a 257 amino acid residue precursor protein with a signal peptide and a proprotein that are cleaved to yield the 119 amino acid residue mature NT3.The amino acid sequences of mature human, murine and rat NT-3 are identical. NT-3 selectively promotes the differentiation and survival of specific neuronal subpopulations in both the central as well as the peripheral nervous systems.Product Name Alternative:
Neurotrophin-3; NT-3; HDNF; Nerve Growth Factor 2; NGF-2; Neurotrophic Factor; NTF3Accession Number:

E.coliEndotoxin:
<0.01 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.Purity:
Greater than 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGEForm:
LyophilizedReconstitution:
Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml.Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Molecular Weight:
13.6 KDaShipping Conditions:
The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature listed below.Storage Conditions:
Lyophilized protein should be stored at ≤ -20°C, stable for one year after receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at ≤ -20°C for 3 months.Formulation:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20mM PB, 250mM NaCl, pH 7.2.Construct:
Recombinant Human Neurotrophin-3 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Tyr139-Thr257 is expressed.Species:
Human
