Mouse CCL11 (Eotaxin-1) ELISpot

• Background:

  CCL11 belongs to the CC chemokine family and is commonly known as Eotaxin-1. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL11 selectively recruits eosinophils by inducing their chemotaxis, and therefore, is implicated in allergic responses. Endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, alveolar macrophages and eosinophils are known to produce CCL11.

• Description:

  Mouse CCL11 ELISpot contains Capture Antibody, Standard Control, and Detection Antibody for development of up to two (2) ELISpot assays. Other required materials and reagents are not supplied. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISpot with the Standard Control provided. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.
