Canine CX3CL1 (Fractalkine) ELISpot

• Background:

  CX3CL1, also known as Fractalkine, is a member of the chemokine family. It has two functional forms: membrane-anchored CX3CL1 and soluble CX3CL1. Soluble CX3CL1 chemoattracts T cells and monocytes, while the cell-bound chemokine promotes strong adhesion of leukocytes to activated endothelial cells, where it is primarily expressed. CX3CL1 elicits its adhesive and migratory functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CX3CR1.

• Description:

  Canine CX3CL1 ELISpot contains Capture Antibody, Standard Control, and Detection Antibody for development of up to two (2) ELISpot assays. Other required materials and reagents are not supplied. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISpot with the Standard Control provided. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.
