Mouse CXCL5 (ENA-78) ELISA

  • Background:

CXCL5 is a member of the CXC chemokine family and is also known as epithelial-derived neutrophil-activating peptide 78 (ENA-78) . It is produced following stimulation of cells with the inflammatory cytokines, including IL-1 and TNF-alpha. Expression of CXCL5 has also been observed in eosinophils, and can be inhibited with IFN-γ. CXCL5 stimulates the chemotaxis of neutrophils. CXCL5 has been shown to play a role in conditions ranging from sun burn to cystitis and athrosclerosis.
  • Description:

The Mouse CXCL5 (ENA-78) ELISA contains capture antibody, standard, and detection antibody for development of a Mouse CXCL5 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. Alternate names include CXCL5, ENA-78, SCYB5, C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 5. The quantities of components provided are not matched. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.
