Background
CXCL7 belongs to the CXC chemokine family. It is an isoform of Beta-Thromboglobulin or Pro-Platelet basic protein (PPBP) . CXCL7t is released in large amounts from platelets following their activation. It stimulates various processes including mitogenesis, synthesis of extracellular matrix, glucose metabolism and synthesis of plasminogen activator.
Description
The Human CXCL7 ELISA contains capture antibody, recombinant protein standard, and detection antibody for development of a Human CXCL7 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. The Human CXCL7 ELISA can also be used to measure Chimpanzee CXCL7. Alternate names include PPBP, B-TG1, Beta-TG, CTAP-III, CTAP3, CTAPIII, CXCL7, LA-PF4, LDGF, MDGF, NAP-2, PBP, SCYB7, TC1, TC2, TGB, TGB1, THBGB, THBGB1, pro-platelet basic protein.
