Human IFN alpha Polyclonal Antibody - Biotinylated

  • Background:

Type I interferons comprise a vast and growing group of IFN proteins. Homologous molecules to type I IFNs are found in many species, including all mammals, and some have been identified in birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish species. The mammalian types are designated IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-kappa, IFN-delta, IFN-epsilon, IFN-tau, IFN-omega, and IFN-zeta (also known as limitin) . They are mainly involved in innate immune response against viral infection.
  • Description:

The Human IFN alpha polyclonal antibody is labeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA applications. It is the detection antibody in the Kingfisher Biotech Human IFN alpha ELISA. The Human IFN alpha antibody was produced in rabbits and is antigen-affinity purified. This antibody has shown no cross-reactivity with bovine, canine, caprine, chicken, equine, feline, ferret, mouse, ovine, or swine IFN alpha proteins. For research use only.
