Human Osteopontin (OPN) Polyclonal Antibody - Biotinylated

  • Background:

Osteopontin (OPN) is also known as bone /sialoprotein I (BSP-1 or BNSP), early T-lymphocyte activation (ETA-1), secreted phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1), 2ar and Rickettsia resistance (Ric) . Osteopontin is expressed in a variety of tissue types including cardiac fibroblasts, preosteoblasts, osteoblasts, osteocytes, odontoblasts, some bone marrow cells, hypertrophic chondrocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages, smooth muscle, skeletal muscle myoblasts, endothelial cells, and extraosseous (non-bone) cells in the inner ear, brain, kidney, deciduum, and placenta. Synthesis of osteopontin is stimulated by calcitriol (1,25-dihydroxy-vitamin D3) .
  • Description:

The Human OPN polyclonal antibody is labeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA. It is the detection antibody in the Kingfisher Human OPN ELISA. The Human OPN antibody was produced in rabbits and is antigen-affinity purified. The reactivity by species is: (Human OPN - Strong) (Bovine OPN - None) (Caprine OPN - None) (Swine OPN - None) .
