  The recombinant heterodimer of human CD3D/CD3E consists of 687 (334+353) amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 77.5 (37.7+39.8) kDa. It migrates as an approximately 44-54 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.

  In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise. Stable for 1 year at -20°C or below from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and opening the cap. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

• Overview:

  A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met1-Ala105) of human CD3D (P04234-1) was fused with the C-terminal his-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met1-Asp126) of human CD3E (P07766-1) was fused with the C-terminal flag-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids were co-expressed and the human CD3D/CD3E heterodimer was purified.
