Description :
8MTTis the first commercially available, full-length, genetically detoxified tetanus toxin. As a full-length protein, 8MTT contains all the tetanus toxin epitopes. 8MTT is more thermal and pH stable than CRM197. 8MTT is comparable to tetanus toxoid as a carrier protein. At 150 kDa, 8MTT is about 3 times the mass of CRM197and has ~35 surface accessible lysines vs ~10 for the latter, allowing for higher hapten loading.
