Troriluzole, a third-generation, tripeptide proagent of Riluzole , is an orally active glutamate modulator. Troriluzole reduces synaptic glutamate level and increases the synaptic glutamate absorption. Troriluzole has the potential for Alzheimer disease and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD)[2].
