Recombinant Human FGF-8b
- Description: Fibroblast growth factor 8 (FGF-8) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. It has been found to be an essential growth factor for the androgen-dependent growth of mouse mammary cancer cells. Mouse FGF-8b has 100% amino acid identity with human FGF-8b. FGF-8 is widely expressed during embryonic development and mediates epithelial-mesenchymal transition. It plays a crucial role in regulating embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and cell migration. It is essential for the normal development of the brain, eyes, ears, limbs, and the normal development of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neuronal system during embryogenesis. Recombinant Human FGF-8b is expressed by E.coli, and is produced with raw materials of pharmaceutical applicable level. The host protein residue, nucleic acid residue and common pathogens are strictly controlled, and the production and quality management procedures of the product comply with GMP regulations to ensure the traceability of the production process and all raw materials.
