CD649.2 is a selective fluorescent probe for detecting Cu (II) in live cells via confocal microscopy. It enables research into copper homeostasis, such as studying DMT1-mediated Cu (II) import and monitoring changes in active Cu (II) levels during oxidative stress or in cancer models, both in vitro and in vivo.
