CMFDA is a cell-permeable fluorescent dye that is enzymatically converted inside cells into a stable, fluorescent adduct, enabling long-term tracking of proliferation, migration, and viability. It is extensively used for non-toxic live-cell labeling in both in vitro and in vivo studies for imaging and flow cytometry applications.
