Description
Erythrosine B is a tetraiodofluorescein dye used as a red food colorant and dental plaque disclosing agent. Its structural similarity to thyroxine also makes it a useful biological stain in cell biology and a tool for in vitro thyroid hormone receptor interaction studies.
