(E), (Z) -RNF5 agonist 1 (Compound Analog-1) is an RNF5 agonist that enhances the ubiquitin-mediated degradation of the SARS-CoV-2 E protein. It effectively inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication and significantly reduces lung pathology and systemic inflammation in mouse infection models.
