Description
T504 is an oxazolidinone antibiotic. It effectively inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, Mycobacterium bovis BCG, and Mycobacterium abscessus, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.5-1.0 μg/mL against the Mycobacterium tuberculosis reference strain H37Rv. T504 effectively suppresses the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis within macrophages without exhibiting significant cytotoxicity. T504 is suitable for studying mycobacterial infections.
