Description
Cholesterol-conjugated OC prodrug (Compound 1b) is an orally active prodrug of oseltamivircarboxylate, linked with cholesterol. It offers protection against influenza virus infections. The oseltamivircarboxylate released from this prodrug remains in circulation longer than when released from oseltamivir. This compound is applicable for influenza research.
