Description
6-Arm-PEG-FA (MW 3400) [6-Arm-PEG-Folate (MW 3400) ] is a PEG derivative modified with folic acid. Polyethylene glycol enhances solubility and stability, reduces the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins, and inhibits nonspecific binding of charged molecules to modified surfaces. Folic acid (-FA) targets cell membrane receptors for drug delivery due to its high affinity for folate receptors.
