Description
Smurf1-IN-5 (Compound cpd-6) is an inhibitor of the SMAD ubiquitin regulatory factor (SMURF1) . It reduces the ubiquitination of substrates such as BMPR2 (bone morphogenetic protein receptor 2) and SMAD1, thereby enhancing the BMP (bone morphogenetic protein) signaling pathway. Smurf1-IN-5 holds promise for research in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) .
