Description
Neobulgarone E is an anthraquinone derivative isolated from the ascomycete fungus Neobulgaria pura HA A07-97. It inhibits the formation of appressoria in the rice blast fungus and displays mild cytotoxicity, but lacks antifungal, antibacterial, and phytotoxic activities.
