Description
PhoPS is a light-activated prodrug that releases the β-lactamase inhibitor sulbactam. This mechanism enables the study of targeted antibacterial strategies, including the inhibition of cell wall synthesis and biofilm formation in E. coli, for both in vitro and in vivo research applications.
