Description
CAR-2 is a BODIPY-derived photosensitizer that selectively targets the endoplasmic reticulum and lipid droplets to induce ferroptosis upon light activation. It demonstrates potent in vitro phototoxicity against breast cancer cells (IC50 0.01-0.02 μM) and has shown significant antitumor efficacy in a 4T1 mouse xenograft model.
