Description
Cafestol palmitate, a bioactive constituent of green coffee beans, is a research tool for studying cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory pathways. It has been shown to induce glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity in murine models and demonstrates weak cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitory activity in vitro.
