Description
ST-IN-1 (compound (R) -1) is a potent and selective ST inhibitor, with Ki values of 70 nM for rat α-2,6-ST and 19 nM for human ST6GAL1. It exerts antitumor and anti-metastatic activity by desialylating tumor cell surfaces, as demonstrated in both cellular assays and in vivo tumor models.
