Description
2,6-Dithiopurine is a nucleophilic scavenger used in research to study chemoprevention. It acts by binding electrophilic carcinogens, thereby inhibiting DNA adduct formation and blocking carcinogenesis initiation in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
