Description
(+) -Actinobolin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis by targeting ribosomes in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems. It is used in biochemical research to study translation inhibition, with demonstrated activity in vitro against bacterial models like E. coli and M. smegmatis, as well as in rabbit reticulocyte lysate assays.
