OAF89 is a small molecule ligand that binds both G-quadruplex (G4) structures and double-stranded DNA. It demonstrates cytotoxic activity with an IC50 of 1.07 μM in BEAS-2B normal lung epithelial cells, making it a useful probe for studying nucleic acid structures and their biological roles in cancer research and molecular biology.
