Description

Jobosic acid is a saturated fatty acid that selectively inhibits SARS-CoV-2 by targeting the viral main protease (Mpro) and disrupting the spike-ACE2 interaction, with respective IC50 values of 7.5 and 3 μg/mL. It also demonstrates entry inhibition against the Omicron variant, making it a useful research tool for in vitro antiviral studies targeting viral entry and replication mechanisms.
