Description
Tetranor-PGFM is the primary urinary metabolite of PGF2α, with daily excretion of 7-13 μg in healthy women and 11-59 μg in men. Its levels rise 2-5 fold during pregnancy, normalizing postpartum. This biomarker is used in reproductive, renal, and inflammation research, including in vivo metabolic studies and in vitro assay development.
