Description
Hexacyclen is a polyazamacrocycle analog of 18-crown-6 that acts as an extracellular calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) antagonist with an EC50 of 20 μM. Its multiple secondary amines make it a strong electron donor, useful in polymer chemistry and for studying CaSR function in cellular assays.
