(S) -Osanetant is the S-enantiomer of the selective neurokinin 3 (NK3) receptor antagonist SR142801. It exhibits anxiolytic and antidepressant-like properties in preclinical studies and is a research tool for investigating psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
