Description
Meclocycline is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic that also exhibits cytoprotective properties in Huntington's disease research models. It reduces LDH release and cytotoxicity caused by mutant huntingtin (htt-N63-148Q) in PC12 cells without affecting protein levels, supporting its use in neuroprotection and cytotoxicity assays in vitro.
