Description
GGTI298 is a selective peptidomimetic inhibitor of geranylgeranyltransferase I (GGTase I) . It potently inhibits Rap1A geranylgeranylation (IC50 ~3 μM in vivo) with minimal effect on Ha-Ras farnesylation (IC50 >20 μM) . This selectivity makes it a valuable research tool for studying geranylgeranylated proteins in cancer, cardiovascular, and inflammatory disease research.
