Description
Digeranyl bisphosphonate (DGBP) is a cell-permeable inhibitor of geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPPS), blocking the geranylgeranylation of proteins such as Rac1. This compound induces autophagy and is a useful tool for studying protein prenylation, autophagy pathways, and related diseases in cellular models.
