Description
Manumycin A is a thioredoxin reductase-1 (TrxR-1) inhibitor with antibiotic and anticancer properties. It induces apoptosis and suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokine production (IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8) in stimulated immune cells, as demonstrated in vitro with THP-1 and PBMC models.
