CI 972 anhydrous is a potent and selective inhibitor of purine nucleoside phosphorylase (PNP) with a Ki of 0.83 μM. This T cell-selective immunosuppressive agent is used in research to study autoimmune diseases and T-cell malignancies in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
