Description
2-Thio-UTP is a potent and selective P2Y2 receptor agonist (EC50 = 50 nM) . It is used in cardiovascular research, particularly in studies of calcific aortic valve stenosis (CAVS), to investigate mechanisms of calcification and fibrosis in valvular interstitial cells (VICs) in vitro.
