Description
Amiperone is a neuroleptic agent that, in rodent models, delays and decreases noise-induced escape responses. At low doses, it also suppresses lever-pressing behavior and impairs shock-avoidance performance. This compound is utilized in preclinical research for investigating antipsychotic mechanisms and behavioral pharmacology in vivo.
