Curcuphenol, at concentrations of 29-116 μg/ml, dose-dependently inhibits cell proliferation and DNA replication while inducing cell death. It is used in cancer research to investigate cytotoxic mechanisms and antiproliferative effects in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
