Description
Neluxicapone is a peripherally-acting catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitor used in Parkinson's disease research. It is applied in both in vitro enzyme assays and in vivo models to study its role in prolonging the therapeutic effect of levodopa by inhibiting its peripheral metabolism.
