Description
NLA-1 is a potent bioreductive cytotoxin and radiosensitizer belonging to the 2-nitroimidazole class. It intercalates into DNA with an affinity comparable to 9-aminoacridine, exhibiting significantly greater cytotoxicity than misonidazole (MISO) in hypoxic cellular and tumor models.
