Description
Phaseolotoxin is a bacterial exotoxin produced by Pseudomonas species. Its proteolytic cleavage yields the active metabolite octicidine. This toxin is used in plant pathology research to study bacterial virulence and host-pathogen interactions, both in vitro and in vivo.
