Description
Sonoflora 1 (SF1) is a porphyrin-based chlorophyll analog photosensitizer with a central metal ion. It exhibits potent sonodynamic and photodynamic activity, and clinical studies have shown therapeutic efficacy against advanced, chemotherapy-refractory breast cancer. Its applications extend to research in oncology, photodynamic therapy (PDT), and sonodynamic therapy (SDT) across in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
