Description
FKGK 18 is a potent and selective inhibitor of GVIA calcium-independent phospholipase A2 (iPLA2) . It effectively reduces iPLA2β and iPLA2γ activity in cellular and tissue models (IC50 ~50 nM and ~1-3 μM, respectively) and has demonstrated in vivo efficacy by lowering blood glucose and increasing insulin in NOD mice.
