(R) -Mephenytoin is the R-enantiomer of the anticonvulsant Mephenytoin. It is used in pharmacological research, particularly in cytochrome P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) phenotyping studies, to investigate stereoselective metabolism in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
