Description
TAS 205 is a potent and selective inhibitor of hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase (H-PGDS; IC50 = 55.8 nM) . It effectively reduces PGD2 production in basophil cell models and demonstrates in vivo efficacy by attenuating allergic responses, such as eosinophil infiltration and nasal obstruction, in a guinea pig model of allergic rhinitis.
