• Storage Conditions: May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. • Specificity: Reacts with the mouse and rat P2Y1 receptor proteins. On Western blots, a strong clear band ~63kD is exhibited. This molecular weight corresponds to a published report of the P2Y1 receptor; however, other publications have described this protein at 40 and 42kD. Reactivity is confirmed with mouse brain homogenates. Species sequence homology: Human and bovine.
